The Oompa Loompas were the factory workers and engineers in the classic story Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Originally a childrens story by Roald Dahl it also came in movie versions with the first featuring Gene Wilder in the early 70′s and more recently Johnny Depp in the title role. In the tale, a mad inventor and eccentric business man “Willy Wonka” dreams up all sorts of fantastic goodies and the Oompa Loompas faithfully develop his ideas with perfect precision. The orange faced Oompa Loompa people are the scientific brains, engineers and workers behind Willy Wonka’s thriving candy empire. This video should will refresh your memory of the people from Loompa Land.

Directed by Christopher Bell and produced by the makers of “Bowling for Columbine” the documentary shows an unregulated and often fraudulent food supplement industry.

As I begin to investigate various products and claims for Way and Path, I can’t help but visualize evil Oompa Loompas making up batches of various food supplements under the direction of an evil real life Willy Wonka. Perhaps they’re even singing a little catchy song as they go about their tasks. I for one will not subject my dietary health to unknown substances and concoctions from the Oompa Loompas of the American food supplement industry. I believe it to be expensive and dangerous, especially over long periods of time, heck I’m even second guessing the content and validity of mulit-vitamins (see this article). After watching this video I hope you’re better able to resist the snazzy marketing of the food supplement industry and feel confidence in an all natural and balanced diet.
