The connection between practice and results has been firmly established in professional level tennis. So when recent rumors of Rafael Nadal training 8 hours a day, every day, surfaced many simply saw this as an intensification in the overall level of play and increased or sharpened their own training efforts. Tennis Elbow Computer

One day a man complained to his friend, “My elbow really hurts, I am going to see a doctor.”

His friend said, “Why don’t you try the new computer system in the hospital. It’s proven to be able to diagnose anything quicker and cheaper than any doctor. It’s incredible! You simply insert a sample of your urine and the system diagnoses your problem and then advise you what to do about it.”

The injured fella had nothing to lose, so he filled a jar with his urine sample and went to the hospital. Finding the computer system he deposited the sample and awaited the computer systems diagnosis.

The system started making some noise and various lights started to flash and beep. After a short pause out popped a small slip of paper. (more…)

The Oompa Loompas were the factory workers and engineers in the classic story Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Originally a childrens story by Roald Dahl it also came in movie versions with the first featuring Gene Wilder in the early 70′s and more recently Johnny Depp in the title role. In the tale, a mad inventor and eccentric business man “Willy Wonka” dreams up all sorts of fantastic goodies and the Oompa Loompas faithfully develop his ideas with perfect precision. The orange faced Oompa Loompa people are the scientific brains, engineers and workers behind Willy Wonka’s thriving candy empire.
